DURING THIS TIME OF PANDEMIC

As parishioners heard today, we want all of our parishioners to remain healthy and experience Christ’s peace during these uncertain times. Some of the more notable things to remember:
•The elderly (60+), those who are ill or have compromised immune systems, and those who work as health care providers have, for the time being, dispensation from the obligation of Sunday Mass and Holy Days of obligation.
•The best way to prevent contagion at this time is to observe prudent social distancing (give people outside of your immediate family and yourself a few feet of “personal space”), avoid all unnecessary large social exposure, wash your hands thoroughly regularly, use hand sanitizer regularly, do not touch your face without having sanitized your hands first, drink plenty of water regularly, eat healthily, and get proper sleep.
•When you come for Mass and/or devotions, sit throughout the church. We have plenty of space—feel free to sit in the back or away from people.
•If you choose to come up for Holy Communion at Mass, remain still at the Communion Rail and Father or Deacon will place the Host on your tongue or hand without the risk of making contact.
•If you do not feel comfortable approaching to receive Holy Communion, please make a “Spiritual Communion” (sample prayers will be made available) and Father will give a blessing with the Blessed Sacrament after Mass for those who made Spiritual Communions.
•Lastly…PRAY. Only God can avert and end this pandemic and we must humble ourselves, implore His mercy, and take refuge in His protection.

To this end, below are some of what we will be doing this week at Little Flower:
